Set:
- Pilot drill ø1.8
Used to create the position in which the fixator will be placed.
- Extension drill
Used to increase the length of the screw osteotome
- Hand screwdriver
Used to tighten or loosen the screw osteotome manually, without using a handpiece.
- Ratchet wrench adapter
Connects the screw osteotome to a ratchet wrench.
First, use the pilot drill bit to make a place. Then, take the smallest size of the screw osteotome (2.3 mm) and apply it using an inward and outward motion at 50 rpm. After that, continue working by gradually increasing the instrument size.
**How to choose the final size of the screw osteotome? 1) For normal bone density: choose the same size as the size of the fixator. 2) In case of poor bone density: choose two sizes smaller screw osteotome than the size of the fixator
